Unhallowed
A downloadable game
You live on the edge of a forest. You grew up here. You have never lived anywhere else.
One day, you glance out the window, and you see your younger sister walking away from you, headed into the trees.
The forest is a dangerous place, and your sister should know—she does know—that she is not allowed to go there by herself.
You run out the door, calling her name, but by the time you reach the edge of the forest, she is out of sight. All you see are her light footprints on the soft earth of the forest floor.
Without hesitation, you follow.
UNHALLOWED is a solo-journaling TTRPG of isolation and unsettling horror. You chase your sister through the forest, encountering ever more disturbing locations. Can you hold yourself together until the end?

I got genuine chills playing this. The modification table is genius and leads to some very creepy and unexpected moments. The prompts took me somewhere I wasn't expecting to go, which is all I can really hope for in a journaling game. Loved it!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing!!
Unhallowed is quick to pick up and grips you with its deep and interesting prompts to follow, keeping you on short, breathless journal entries to keep up with the pace of chasing after someone you love. the slow loss of reality, the questioning of the self and your memory, it all fits together so beautifully and is a wonderful horror experience. definitely recommend, what a fun game to play!
You know, you have described better the feeling that I was going for with this game better than I ever have. Thanks for playing!
A tightly packed system that gets its themes across extremely well with excellent prompts and a great atmosphere. The gameplay itself is simple and I can't imagine how it could ever cause confusion or pause. Another great entry into solo-journaling by Hall, really excited to see where he goes next.
I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!
