It does not matter if the new signs read “Gareth Pines State Park.” The locals will always call it The Hill, and they will always say it with a wary glance out the window. The trail maps and spray-painted blazes have done nothing to allay their superstitious fear of The Hill and its abandoned monastery.

But the tourists still come. Whispered warnings at the gas station will not stop them from venturing out into the woods. The junkyard full of abandoned cars with out-of-state license plates will not stop them from seeking out the ruins on The Hill. And the tattered “Missing Person” flyers will not stop them from going missing themselves

On The Hill is a twisted retelling of B5: Horror on the Hill (TSR, 1983) created for the Liminal Horror Twisted Classics Jam. It includes:

  • 11-point Voidcrawl through Gareth Pines State Park.
  • Voidcrawl tables with new Fallouts, Clues, and Horrors.
  • A Doom Clock counting down to the arrival of the Not Deer.
  • Monsters, including the Not Deer, the Toothfrog, and the Choking Tree.
  • Resonant Artifacts, including the Stone Tooth Whistle and the Flail of the Penitent.
  • 2 player-facing maps to be found during the adventure.

This is, no lie, the best example of a Voidcrawl I've ever seen. Definitely better than the official examples like The Bloom.
