It does not matter if the signs now read “Gareth Pines Park.” It does not matter if the trails are marked with spray-painted blazes. The horrors on this hill are all too real for the people of the Bay, but that does not stop them from flocking to the forest for a much needed reprieve from the creeping macadam of the suburbs.
The Will of the Forest takes your players on a cursed point-crawl through Gareth Pines Park. The module is written to be compatible with The Lost Bay RPG, and it is an adaptation of the classic TSR module B5: Horror on the Hill.
It includes:
- 11-location point-crawl through Gareth Pines Park.
- Encounter tables with Monsters, Clues, and Horrors.
- A Doom Clock counting down to the arrival of the Not Deer.
- NPCs to meet and Monsters to fight.
- 2 player-facing maps to be found during the adventure.

Halfway through running this amazing adventure right now. Five stars for certain and worth every penny to purchase it. This is a low prep, easily played, exciting adventure for new players and new game masters alike.
This is my first experience playing and running the lost bay as well. I generated an AI image of each point in the point crawl, fired up come creepy music and we were off and running. We only got about an hour into actual play after dealing with all the preamble of how characters work etc. but with an experienced party I think this could easily be played in a 2-3 hour session as a one-shot. My less experienced party probably will finish it in two play sessions.
I so glad you’re enjoying it!
